I live in Port Mulgrave on the north-east coast of England.

My work is about the wild, messy energy that is constantly surging through everything and everybody.

I’m strongly influenced by Japanese calligraphy, woodblock prints, textiles and pottery, but also addicted to punk rock and American abstract expressionism.

I like to keep things fast, rough and terse.
